Eligible source records
A review may be published when it comes from an approved marketplace or first-party export and contains enough information to identify its source. Synthetic, invented, or AI-written review text is not presented as customer feedback.
Required labels
Published records should display the source platform, source name, rating when supplied, publication date, import date, source review ID, author display name, available product context, and verified-purchase status only when the source provides that status.
Editing rules
- Do not change a reviewer’s meaning or sentiment.
- Do not rewrite negative feedback to sound positive.
- Correct only obvious spacing, encoding, or display problems that do not change meaning.
- Label translations, excerpts, incentives, and material moderation when applicable.
- Do not combine several reviews into a synthetic quotation.
Moderation and exclusions
Positive and negative reviews are handled under the same standards. A record may be withheld or removed when it is a duplicate, cannot be matched to its source, exposes sensitive personal data, contains unlawful material, presents a security risk, violates applicable platform terms, or is subject to a valid legal or rights-holder request. A review is not removed solely because it is unfavorable.
Solicitation and incentives
Requests for reviews should not be limited to customers expected to leave positive feedback. Any permitted incentive must not be conditioned on positive sentiment and must be clearly disclosed where required.
Source links and permanent URLs
Each review receives a permanent FITPARTS Review URL. The archive links to the original source profile or storefront. When an approved export includes a valid individual-review URL and platform rules permit republication, that direct URL may also be displayed.
Illustrative score notice
The 4.9 figure is a fixed illustrative design element. It is not calculated from customer reviews and must not be cited as a FITPARTS rating.
Corrections and appeals
Reviewers, source platforms, rights holders, and affected parties may use the Corrections and Removal Requests process. Requests are assessed using source records, identity verification appropriate to the request, privacy, platform rules, and applicable law.
